Concordia Lutheran Church participates in the Christmas Country Church Tour.
The Christmas Country Church Tour is Thursday and Friday, December 15 and 16, from 2 - 9 p.m.
This event began in 2005 with 7 churches participating, followed in 2006 with 14 churches decorated and included on tour.
Then in 2007, the tour "Exploded" as 24 churches in the counties of Perry, Cape Girardeau, and Bollinger joined together for the very popular "Christmas Country Church Tour"! Only "Country Churches" have been accepted to join the organized tour, making this a unique and special event in Southeast Missouri.
Two "Historical Locations" are included in the tour. The First Lutheran Seminary Log Cabin in Altenburg and St. Mary's of the Barrens Shrine of the Miraculous Medal in Perryville will be on tour.
All churches will be decorated for the Christmas Season; some will provide Christmas Music and serve refreshments.
You may begin the Church Tour, north, US Highway 61, at Peace Lutheran Church in Friedenberg, or south, US Highway 61, on State Highway C at Zion Lutheran Church in Pocahontas. Signs, maps, and directions to the churches will be available at each location.
We will greet you and celebrate with you as you tour our church.
